Our Most Recent Ofsted Report
Kingsley Primary School was inspected by Ofsted on 13th and 14th June 2023 and received an overall rating of Good in all key areas — including Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management, and Early Years provision.
We are proud of the outcomes of the inspection, which reflect the dedication of our staff, the hard work of our pupils, and the support of our wider school community.

Summary Highlights
- Welcoming and Inclusive Environment: Inspectors found that pupils are “incredibly happy and feel safe” at this welcoming and inclusive school.
- Positive Behaviour and Relationships: The report states that the school environment is calm and orderly, and that pupils behave very well. Pupils said that everyone is friendly and respectful.
- High Expectations for Pupils: Leaders and staff were praised for having high expectations and ambition for all pupils to achieve well.
- Strong Curriculum: Ofsted recognised that the curriculum is ambitious and carefully organised so that pupils build knowledge securely over time.
- Reading is Prioritised: Inspectors highlighted the school’s strong focus on reading, beginning in the early years, helping pupils become confident readers.
- Support for Pupils with SEND: The report noted that pupils with SEND are identified accurately and supported effectively so they can access the full curriculum alongside their peers.
- Positive Early Years Provision: Children in the early years were found to get off to a strong start because routines are well established and relationships are nurturing.
